Am kommenden Montag (22. März) ist es soweit. Ab 19.30 Uhr wird die virtuelle Preisverleihung der AIPS Awards 2020 aus Vigevano, der Heimatstadt von AIPS-Präsident Gianni Merlo, live im Internet übertragen. Alle, die daran interessiert sind, diese Show aus dem Castello Sforzesco (Bild) mitzuverfolgen, sind herzlich eingeladen (siehe "Weiterlesen") - man muss sich nur anmelden. Unter den 1.871 Einreichungen aus 129 Ländern in 34 Sprachen (bedeutet Rekord) hat es ein Foto eines Osterreichers in der Kategorie "Photography - Sport Action" unter die Top Ten (unter 337 Bildern in dieser Kategorie) geschafft. Es ist das Foto von Leonhard Föger (Agentur REUTERS), das auch die Foto-Kategorie beim letztjährigen "SMA-Preis - presented by Coca-Cola" gewonnen hat. Noch wissen wir nicht, ob unser Kollege es sogar aufs "Stockerl" geschafft hat. Für die Besten der einzelnen Kategorien gibt es schöne Preisgelder. With less than a week to go, invitations were distributed via email yesterday with a registration link.
We urge you to share the information about the Awards with all your members and professional contacts, so that we can all celebrate sport media excellence in a unique way on Monday. As you already know, the AIPS Sport Media Awards are the highest international accolade in the sport media industry.
